Pekingese gets its name from the city of Peking. Known for its coat which resembles a lion, these dogs enjoyed living with the royalty. They are known to greet anyone with dignity – that’s the breed they come from. They are known have affinity to a single person, yet getting Pekingese do well with families too. It has a short broad head. This breed is extremely good looking which needs a fair exercise, but hard to train. This is a beautiful dog which means it needs a lot of grooming. Being more comfortable with elders or older children, kids need to tend caution.
