Whippet is affectionate, calm and playful. They belong to the Hound group. They have a lean long head, deep chest and they show interest to stretch out and relax for long hours. They rarely bark and require low maintenance. They are easy to groom and train them. With their friendly nature and stylish look, they are a good family companion dogs. It is often called all-purpose and snaps dog. Whippets are not watchdogs as they have rarely bark nature and they are very friendly with strangers too.
